Completion of military medical corpsman program . Experience: Prefer at least one year of experience as a medical assistant, but new grads will be considered for some positions. Certification/Licensure: 1. State certification to administer injections required. 2. Completion of national certification exam preferred. Skills: 1. Ability to problem solve patient medical and non-medical problems 2. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities 3. Ability to perform EKGs preferred. Other Requirements: 1. May require lifting patients (i.e. assisting patients from wheelchair to exam tables). 2. Requires frequent changes of assignment. 3. Requires ability to work in a fast paced environment. 4.
