A minimum of six months of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a professional manner. Ability to accurately compound IV admixtures, HA solutions and manufactured items. Ability to complete diverse tasks accurately and efficiently. Ability to work independently. Ability to perform accurate and timely compounding, data entry, stocking and clerical functions. This position requires a minimum one year related work experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively solve problems; the ability to use a computer; a working knowledge of cash registers; an understanding of electronic billing of third-party insurance providers; a working knowledge of hazardous waste handling; the ability to attend to detail; and strong organizational skills.
