Performs housekeeping functions such as: changing exam room table paper, upkeep of cleanliness of the entire office (exam rooms, bathrooms, waiting area, front office, lab room, etc.), ensuring all equipment is clean and presentable.
Performs front office duties such as: answering telephones, scheduling appointments, copying reports, preparing schedules, data entry (including referral contracts, post appointment information) and filing.
Assist doctors during schedules (e.g. chaperone same sex claimants during examination.).
If fluent in other languages, assist claimants and doctors with translation of questionnaire forms or during evaluation, as necessary.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

The study will compare liver function values in participants seeking opiate treatment who are randomized to receive either methadone or suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) in an opiate replacement (methadone maintenance) setting. All study procedures are performed at Evergreen Treatment Services in Seattle (near Qwest Field). We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic professional with strong technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to assist with day-to-day operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Candidates will be required to regularly perform the following tasks: * Collect, process, package and ship biological specimens, with shipments sent to multiple locations using multiple shipping procedures * Meet with study participants to obtain informed consent, information on vital signs, and information on overall health * Enter participant data into the study data management system * Assist with charting of participant progress, including lab values and adverse reactions * Assist other study medical providers and research staff with all of the above tasks as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be a licensed medical professional in the state of Washington. Candidates with experience levels including medical assistants, nurse's aides, phlebotomists, licensed practical nurses, and registered nurses may apply for this position.
