We’re seeking a dynamic medical receptionist for busy and fun downtown/First Hill Seattle office. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, vivacious team player who is outgoing and friendly with our clients and staff. Must have prior experience in a medical office, at least one year preferred. Our office atmosphere is fast-paced and dynamic. Maintains organization and completeness of medical records including filing of documents according to medical records guidelines. 5. Completes paperwork and fills out forms as directed as necessary for patient care and service. 6. Verifies that required referrals have been received prior to the patient’s appointment. 7. Enters referrals into computer for patients referred to physicians. 8. Makes appointments. 9. Screens phone calls, and directs them to the appropriate individual. Takes and directs messages as necessary. 10. Assists staff and patients with clerical duties as needed, including copying and faxing documents. 11. Other duties as needed. Requirements: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: 1. Knowledge and skills regarding all general office equipment including computers, telephones, fax. 2. Knowledge and excellent proven skills in customer service concepts. 3. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and to prioritize multiple demands effectively. 4. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 5. Ability to work cooperatively and helpfully in a team of individuals of multiple disciplines. 6. Ability to learn new skills, adapt to new situations and maintain flexibility in a continuously evolving and improving environment. PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: 1.
