Pharmacy Tech PHARMACY ASSISTANT A Washington State/DSHS/Fircrest Fircrest is a Residential Habilitation Center (RHC) for individuals with developmental disabilities located in Shoreline. Fircrest is recruiting for a full-time Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Assistant A). Minimum requirements are:  Valid Washington State Pharmacy Technician (Assistant A) level certificate  6 months experience in billing Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) under Medicare Part D Federal legislation  6 months experience with general pharmacy technician duties including prescription processing and preparation, inventory management and other general duties.  High School graduation The salary range is $2,649 - $3,371 per month plus the full State benefit package including:  Medical/Dental Insurance  Life and Long Term Disability Insurance  11 paid holidays  Paid vacation and sick leave Retirement This position is scheduled to work 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday, but hours may be adjusted depending on workload. Pharmacy Tech This position assists the pharmacist by processing prescriptions, maintaining patient profiles, filing orders, ordering medications, maintaining pharmaceutical inventory and assuring that the pharmacy program is in compliance with all relevant state and federal rules and regulations. This position operates under the direct oversight and control of a licensed pharmacist. The selected candidate must pass a thorough background investigation. The candidate must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license or have the ability to travel throughout King County in a timely manner.
