Inpatient Pharmacy

Evening Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm with Variable Days)
Full Time (Monday - Friday/Variable Weekends)
Minimum: $14.90/hr +DOE
This position provides technical support under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist which includes: prescription processing/filling; answering telephones; providing customer service; handling cash transactions; managing inventory of pharmaceutical products; compounding and preparing medication and IV admixtures; triaging orders; managing the technical duties in the pharmacy to allow the pharmacist to pursue the
clinical areas of pharmacy practice and ensure that optimal pharmaceutical care is provided to the patients.
This position requires a minimum one year related work experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively solve problems; the ability to use a computer; a working knowledge of cash registers; an understanding of electronic billing of third-party insurance providers; a working knowledge of hazardous waste handling; the ability to attend to detail; and strong organizational skills.
Licensure requirements for this position include a Washington State Pharmacy Assistant Level "A" license and IV certification.
