This individual will assist Audiology staff to provide care for patients seen in the Audiology clinic to include otoscopic examination, administering questionnaires, triaging phone messages, scheduling appointments and evaluating hearing instruments. This individual will also assist in the examination and treatment of ambulatory patients, including: preparing the patient and the environment for treatment, meeting the communication needs of patients and family, conducting basic diagnostic tests, providing patient care coordination, patient education and clerical/reception functions. Communicate with physicians, audiologists and other team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic tests and symptomatology.
