Position – Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist The Puget Sound Blood Center is seeking a skilled technician needed to receive and distribute orders for blood, blood components, and hemophilia components and supplies following detailed standard operating procedures. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, minimum of two years experience in shipping and receiving and/or order taking and customer service preferred, ability to perform computer entry, ability to work a flexible schedule; ability to lift up to 60 lbs., and work in a cold room (4C) or a freezer (-18C). This is a full-time, 1st shift position typically scheduled to work alternating Mondays through Friday and Tuesdays through Saturday. This schedule is balanced by rotating a one day weekend with a three day weekend. Typical work hours are M/Tu/Th/F (0900-1730), Wed (1000-1830) Sat (0700-1530).
